Meeting Attendees:

Dan Orr, Director
The following are submitted as new directors for the ADM Exploration Foundation. Below is a brief biography of each nominee.

David Schott holds a Masters in Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance and marketing and is a principal in Liquid Productions, LLC.

He is a Producer and Professional Underwater Videographer, diving since 1999 he's logged thousands of dives both open water and technical. Living and working in the Philadelphia area, he first became actively involved in Northeast wreck diving. He then earned his full cave certification and began exploring cave systems in Florida and Mexico. After numerous technical dives, Dave realized the need to switch to closed circuit rebreathers in order to extend bottom times for videography on deep and technical cave dives. With hundreds of dives on both his Megalodon Rebreather, he has the comfort, technical ability, and skill needed to provide technical support for deep dives in many challenging environments ranging from the shallows of the Caribbean to depths in excess of 300 feet off of New Jersey and North and Central American Cave systems.

David’s work has been published in a variety of media, including CBS News and the NACD Journal. He is one of the principal videographers in the Weeki Wachee project.

Paul Goransson is an accomplished entrepreneur who holds a PhD in computer science from the University of New Hampshire. He is a published author and recently retired as a senior executive with Cisco Systems. That somewhat understates Paul’s work with Cisco. In reality, he originally owned a corporation that Cisco purchased and he stayed on as a director with Cisco for a number of years. That company, Meetinghouse Data Communications, whose network authentication and encryption technology secures over 200 million endpoint devices (servers, PCs, PDAs, etc.), around the world. The protocols they created still exist today.

Paul was recently invited to join an underwater archaeological expedition in Europe. He has hiked the Pacific and Appalachian trails. As a climber, he has explored most of the major summits in the world. He will bring a wide array of knowledge to the ADM Exploration Foundation board, both because of his extensive exploration travels and intimate knowledge of other cultures (he speaks several languages) and also due to his dramatic success in business.

Walter Pickel is the Vice President of Product Development at Finetech in Tampa/St. Petersburg Florida. He is an Executive with broad experience in all aspects of business operations, electronic commerce, data transformation, accounting reconciliation, electronic payments, new product development and user experience management. Walter also brings knowledge of not-for-profit management and has been involved in some of the most successful exploration operations.

Walter is a well known explorer of both wet and dry caves and is well connected in the dive community. He is an experienced rebreather diver and is a strong advocate for exploration and brings a wealth of knowledge of exploration to the ADM Foundation board.
